Brenda E. Woods
Brenda is the visionary behind Escutia Woods PLLC and your soon to be trusted accountant.
Brenda Escutia Woods is an accomplished Certified Public Accountant specializing in financial accounting and advisory services. Her deep-rooted passion for accounting stems from witnessing her father establish successful businesses without the necessary financial guidance for optimal profitability.
With 17 years of experience in public accounting, Brenda has honed her skills working with both small and large certified public accounting firms in Texas and Maryland. Upon returning to Corpus Christi in 2023, Brenda founded Escutia Woods PLLC, a certified public accounting firm providing high touch client advisory, tax, and attest services to nonprofit organizations and businesses. Her vision is to cultivate enduring client relationships and to mentor and empower the upcoming generation of accounting professionals.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Brenda is happily married to Rudy Woods and cherishes quality time with her two children, Dewayne and Julius. She finds joy in dancing and family gatherings. Brenda actively volunteers at her children's schools and serves as the Vice President of Finance and Governance for the newly established West Oso ISD Education Foundation.
